Mission

The mission for Armstrong Atlantic's Master of Science degree in Computer Science is as follows:

  1. To provide a graduate degree in Computer Science that is accessible to active industry professionals and others who wish to further their Computer Science education.
  2. To meet the critical regional requirement for recruiting and retaining the best people at the forefront of this fast-paced field.
  3. To build upon and strengthen existing partnerships between GTREP and local industries.
  4. To train and develop future staff members to work in and teach in our programs, and those of other Georgia institutions.

The program allows students to choose from a wide range of cutting edge computer science topics and study them in depth. Many graduates will take employment with high-tech computer firms. Others will pursue teaching positions.
