All applicants should submit the following items:

  • Application for admission. (download)
  • Non-refundable $20 application fee.
  • Completed Certificate of Immunization. (download)
  • Two (2) official transcripts in sealed envelopes from the institution granting the baccalaureate degree and from each institution where graduate credit was earned. (download request form)
  • Official GRE test scores. Must be sent directly from the testing agency to the School of Graduate Studies.
  • Three (3) recommendation letters.
  • A letter of intent (Please provide a biographical statement which incorporates the items listed below). (download)
    Limit your response to no more than two typed pages.
    A. A description of your academic interest.
    B. A list of professional accomplishments and/or activities.
    C. A description of your personal/career goals supported by graduate work.

International students must include the following additional materials (listed on page 3 of the application):

  • Original document certifying immigrant or non-immigrant status.
  • Official transcript.
  • Official English translation of official college or University Transcripts.
  • Financial Certificate & Request for I-20 Form. (download)
  • Proof of Health and Life Insurance.
  • Copy of I-94 card or permanent resident card.
  • Applicants with credentials from institutions outside the U.S. are required to have a course-by-course evaluation from a professional evaluation agency before they are eligible for admission.   • A student whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 500.
  • An interview may be required by the academic unit at Armstrong prior to academic admission.
